What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences and provide certain functionality. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the site to work; others are optional and only used with your consent.

Cookies we use

As of the last update date, this website uses the following cookies:

Strictly necessary

  • · Cloudflare (__cf_bm, cf_clearance): used by our hosting provider for bot detection and security. No personal data; expires within minutes to hours of your session ending.
  • · Cloudflare Turnstile: an invisible robot check that runs when you submit an enquiry or estimate form, so automated form-fillers are turned away before a lead is created. It may set its own short-lived cookie while performing the check.
  • · Local storage (not a cookie): the estimate funnels save your in-progress estimate in your browser's local storage so a confirmation-email link can reopen it on the same device, and so nothing is lost if the page reloads. This stays on your device and is not sent to third parties.

Optional — analytics and advertising

We use two measurement services under Google Consent Mode. Until you press Accept on the cookie banner they run in a denied state: the libraries may load, but they set no analytics or advertising cookies and send no personal data. When you press Accept they begin collecting; when you press Decline — or change your mind later via Manage cookies — consent is withdrawn immediately and they stop.

  • · Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*): anonymised usage analytics — which pages are visited and how enquiry forms perform — so we can improve the site.
  • · Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc): measures whether our advertising leads to enquiries, so we are not paying for adverts that do not work. See our privacy policy for how server-side conversion measurement works alongside it.
  • · Advertising attribution (mcg_attr, first-party, up to 90 days): if you arrive from one of our adverts, we store the click identifier and campaign tags in your browser so that, if you enquire later, we can tell which advert brought you — and stop paying for adverts that don't work. It holds no name, email, phone or address.

You can change your mind at any time using the Manage cookies link in the footer, which withdraws consent immediately and re-shows the banner. Your choice is remembered in your browser for up to 12 months, after which the banner asks again.

Embedded third-party content

When you click play on a YouTube video embed on this site, content is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com — YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode that does not set tracking cookies until you interact. Before you click play, only a thumbnail image loads; no third-party cookies are set.

When you view our HQ location on the contact page, a Google Maps embed is loaded. Google may set cookies through this embed; see Google's privacy policy for details.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse all cookies, refuse third-party cookies, or be notified before a cookie is set. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality.
